The remainder of class will be a work day.  Don't forget- no class next Monday.  That leaves you this week and next week to finish the coil projects.

When planning out your Coil Projects please keep in mind the requirements:
1.  Organic form  (from nature)
2.  Use line
         (Lines can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal)
         (Lines can be actual or implied) 
3.  Positive/Negative Space
4.  12" +

You have 5 class periods to complete this assignment!  Please try to come up with an idea that is challenging but attainable, and clearly defined.  How will you spend your work time?  How much work must you complete each week to stay on track?  Think about the details in how your piece is going to be constructed. 

As for the rest of this week....
You'll get your ocarinas back tomorrow to put on the finishing touches for class on Wednesday.  Wednesday will be our class critique.  Please feel free to bring snacks to share at the crit.  I'll also go over some pertinent info from the readings and hand out a vocabulary sheet for the quiz.
